Like an upgraded pegboard, T-Grid can be used for durable and convenient wall-mounted tool storage

T-Grid has been used here to create the base for a plastic welder. It has temperature controlled heating and inlets for both compressed air and nitrogen. Air is supplied to the heating gun until steady state is reached, and then it can be switched to nitrogen to prevent oxidizing the plastic while welding it.

EM Shaft Coupler

T-Grid is an excellent choice as a convenient prototyping material for complex projects. This test stand demonstrates an electromagnetic shaft coupler with contactless torque transfer and on-off capability.

DIN

A NEMA 17 stepper motor (top right) is mounted through the panel with the shaft accessible on the opposite side. DIN rail (bottom left) is mounted with a power supply, circuit breaker, and ethernet breakout. An electrical junction box (center left) is mounted with no modification.

Breadboard

Electrical feedthroughs, available in multi-conductor (bottom right) or high-current (bottom left) variants, screw right into the panel providing electrical isolation and mechanical strength. Additionally, switches and buttons (top left) can be threaded right into the panel with no securing nut required.

EUC with TGrid

This electric unicycle has knee pads mounted on T-Grid panels on either side. As an alternative to adhesive tape, the T-Grid enables easy installation and alignment, and is stronger than tape which fails over time.

Turbine Cart Front

In combination with T-Slot extrusion, T-Grid is a versatile and convenient building material for all projects. This image shows a test cart for measuring performance of additively manufactured turbines with rapid interchange.

Turbine Cart Back

On the back of the turbine test cart, electrical systems and instrumentation are securely mounted using T-Grid.

KLOS

T-Grid provides an excellent storage solution for tools and equipment, such as in this guitar repair shop.

T-Slot can be secured to a T-Grid panel at many angles. This drying rack setup shows a T-Slot rail mounted at 30 degrees.

Bent Bracket

T-Grid strips can be bent into custom brackets for joining T-Slot rails in any required configuration. T-Grid brackets are less expensive, more customizable, and easier to use than traditional T-Slot brackets.

pneumatic feedthru

T-Grid can be used with fluid feedthroughs with no modifications to the T-Grid panel. Leak tested to 2100 psi, these fluid feedthroughs allow for easy access to valves and gauges while hiding messy tubing systems behind the panel.
